ICT ethics involves the moral principles guiding the use of information and communication technologies in areas such as privacy, personal security, and digital rights. Artificial intelligence is a key issue in personal privacy. It is now possible (for example) to determine how desperate a person is for work, and how low a salary they might accept, by examining their credit records and personal information.
