{"id":936,"date":"2018-04-03T11:09:52","date_gmt":"2018-04-03T11:09:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.revolutionsincommunication.com\/viscomm\/?page_id=936"},"modified":"2022-07-06T18:28:38","modified_gmt":"2022-07-06T18:28:38","slug":"adobe-animate","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/revolutionsincommunication.com\/viscomm\/adobe-animate\/","title":{"rendered":"Adobe Animate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Generally:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>To begin with, open Animate CC and pull down File \/ New.\u00a0 Under the \u201cGeneral\u201d tab, start with HTML5 or with Action Script 3.0.<\/li>\n<li>Save as you go, and test your animation from time to time by pulling down Control \/ Test.<\/li>\n<li>Once you finish your animation,\u00a0 there are several export options.\n<ul>\n<li>Export to <em>video<\/em> gives you .mov files that can be loaded into YouTube or Vimeo.<\/li>\n<li>Export to <em>animated gif<\/em> gives you .gif type files that can be placed directly on WordPress pages or posts.<\/li>\n<li>Export to movie gives you .swf file for interactive buttons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assignment 7.2a\u00a0<\/strong> \u2014 Motion Tween<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Insert \/ Timeline \/ Keyframe out\u00a0 60 frames on the timeline<\/li>\n<li>Go back to frame 1 and use a graphic tool and create an image (circle, square, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Place your cursor next to the keyframe (frame 59 for example)<\/li>\n<li>Insert \/ motion tween .<\/li>\n<li>Pull your image across the screen. A path should be visible. You can change that path and make your image move in different directions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Assignment 7.2b &#8212; add a Shape Tween\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create an image but don&#8217;t turn it into a symbol.<\/li>\n<li>Keyframe at 30 to 50 frames out.<\/li>\n<li>On the keyframe, create an entirely different second image.<\/li>\n<li>Control click (right click) on the timeline. This should bring up a timeline menu.
