Journalism places the public\u2019s interests ahead of commercial, political and personal interests. Journalism empowers viewers, listeners and readers to make more informed decisions for themselves; it does not tell people what to believe or how to feel.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/revolutionsincommunication.com\/journalism\/?page_id=1358\">Ethics and reporting<\/a> (this site) &#8212; Usually we don&#8217;t identify victims of crime or\u00a0 witnesses to criminal activity.\u00a0 We always treat all people with respect.
